It’s all about the shoe/heel!!!
If you don’t choose one that you are comfortable in and can walk in you will never master the walk no matter how hard you try!
So make sure you don’t buy a pair of heels just because you think they are sexy/pretty etc. you need to make sure, in store, that they fit well, they are comfortable, that they are not too high, and you can comfortably walk in them.
Once you have done that, then it’s all about practice makes perfect. You need to keep trying, everyday. On different surfaces. But first on a clean, dry, flat, perfect surface and master that perfectly. Then once you have that, then on other surfaces.
But I can assure you if you do not have the right heel to start it’s never going to work! There is such thing as the perfect heels!
Very good advice thank you very much, it will really help me. It was my girlfriend who told me to try wearing heels, I hope she will be happy when I manage to walk in them.
May I ask why your girlfriend wants you to wear heels?
Yes, she finds me a little too macho and she would like me to be more feminine. I didn't want to do it at first, but I ended up giving in to please her.
I’m sorry but that is strange! And tbh out of order!
She started by doing my makeup etc, and I ended up liking it over time
Each to their own. You do you!!
There are rules.
The taller the heel, the shorter the stride. You should be walking increasingly slow the higher the heel is because you'll be making more steps to travel the same distance.
Step heel first. It might seem easier to walk flat-footed but you'll just look awkward.
The only exception to this is walking up stairs where you'll only be walking on your toes.
Keep your arms down as much as possible. Walking in heels is easier with a lower center of gravity. This is a problem for male bodies as wider shoulders and narrower hips naturally raise their center. Even moreso if you're fat.
Arms should still sway as you move but you need to keep this rule in mind.
Doing the imaginary tightrope walk isn't just a cosmetic thing, it also helps with balance once practiced.
Thank you very much for his super good advice, I will apply them 😊
Same way you get to broadway… practice, practice, practice! Well, TBF you could do it like most girls do: Start with smaller, lower heals. When you’re finally used to them, go to a taller/thinner heel and practice in your moms heels while she’s at work?
no, I'm going to borrow my girlfriend's heels because she's the one who wants me to wear heels.
but thank you very much for the great advice.
Strong ankles, you'll be sore for awhile... once you get used to walking, go ahead and try running in them, that is a true test of balance and strength.
Or try dancing in them.
Just like ice skates and other stuff, built up the strength through practice.
Yes, as a lot of people have told me here, I'm going to start small and then I'm going to take bigger and bigger heels.
The most important is how strong are your ackels? Heel 👠 first, toe stairs (tippy toe), flat down stairs or flat on ur face 😀
Keep your knee straight important & foot in front of the other to swing ur hips (dont over do it) I guess use ur phone and compare. Knees/ legs bent vs straight. Practice on smaller heights with chunkier heels or wedges and then to thinner heels! And they have to fit don't try hers if you're about the same size get your own that you like! NOT because they're pretty I still don't know why I can't follow my own advice, Lol I love heels a quick turn with ur hips a little flash goes a long way with guys 😉
It's actually pretty easy, you need to walk like you're on an invisible tightrope, so one foot in front of the other, making your hips sway. Keep your shoulders back. It's easier to practice on smaller heights or chunkier heels / wedges and then graduate to thinner heels. Try practicing in a hallway on hardwood, linoleum or tile.
Thank you very much for the advice. My girlfriend will be happy if I can walk properly in heels. Because it was she who asked me to try to wear it.
I'm great at walking and running in heels. I always wear very high heeled thigh high platform boots which are very bright pink and long gloves which are very bright pink just like everything else I wear and own. Of course men including my very dark sexy black husband love how I look dressed all in very bright pink and wearing very bright pink very high heeled thigh high platform boots and very bright pink long gloves. I also always carry around a very bright pink whip as I'm a dominatrix.
You know body of a man and woman is different. The way wearing high heels is for woman can be very different compared to a man wearing high heels. Your hips isn't that way to walk comfortably in high heels. Men don't wear it for a reason. It is much more difficult for them to balance due to the body shape and center of gravity.
Years of practice makes perfect.
So don't be upset if you struggle initially. Start with 2 to 3 inches and once you build your arches increase the heel and duration you wear them.
Thank you very much for the advice, it's really nice.
And thank you for not judging me. I am a man, and full of people may consider it weird
I don't judge others. Only God can judge. And remember "No one can make you feel inadequate without your consent".
Be unapologetically "YOU". Those pumps in the above picture are gorgeous by the way. Great choice for this question.
It would be nice if everyone could follow your values. 😊♥️
Oh thank you, I'm going to order them, they're really cheap.
So adorable! I hope you have a happy Taco Tuesday 🌮!
Here in Europe we don't have that lol. But thank you anyway, and I wish you a good 🌮 😊
What kind of clothes will go well with the heels I posted in the picture?
Oh! I didn't realize you were in Europe. I am in the USA. And a nice casual black dress would be nice. Maybe something from Calvin Klein
Oh I see, it must be great to live in the USA.
Thank you very much for the advice, I will wear the black dress with the heels when I tell my family that I like to wear women's clothes, I hope they will react well
💜💜

These will be easier for you to walk in.
You're doing better than me. I wore short heels for 1 day—SHORT heels, for 1 DAY—and I got shin splints as bad as when I used to run sprints in track! I'm here to read the answers as well lol
Haha 🤣
Give up heels and go with something more stable.
just practice on even out patches of land not gravel, mulch or anything uneven. never run in heels down stairs, or down hills or even up. I've worn my heels a lot the past week for sundays and i know what im doing’s
Practice, practice, practice. Start by wearing lower heels I'd say 7/8mm when you feel comfortable enough switch to 10mm.
Small steps, one foot in front of the other and don’t put your feet down hard. You have to walk with a lighter and more “balanced” step in heels.
Just stand there and don't move or rather just don't wear them at all. Your feet will be thanking you.
For me its not to make too bigger stride, i have broke so many heels that way
Exercise your legs, apply aloe vera on your feet, stand up straight, imagine you are a boss woman, start from wear flats, to wedges, to heels!
Are u a cross dresser or something
No, I'm doing all this to please my girlfriend
Walk heel to toe.
Start with low heels walk like your on tightrope.
Thank you very much for the advice. My girlfriend will be happy if I can walk properly in heels. Because it was she who asked me to try to wear it.
I can’t understand her
Walk slowly and take short steps.
Don’t.
have a good posture…
