Sometimes! I had a French friend long ago and she was half-Italian and had the sort of aquiline nose. So I told her that her nose was so pretty and kept drawing her picture.

It reminded me a lot of the Greco-Roman statues like those of Athena. She also had a strong brow to accompany her prominent nose and that whole rounded face common in those statues and also Da Vinci's drawings, like so:

She had to go back to France by the end of the year and got a boyfriend and kept complaining to me that her boyfriend never complimented her nose. :-D

It's also one of the few times I ever complimented women on their looks. I never liked to use generic compliments like "pretty" or "beautiful". Every other guy says that. So I said her nose reminded me of Greco-Roman statues and drew her face a lot... that's about as close to complimenting a woman's looks as I ever got.

Well, in a flirting context. Sometimes I used words like "pretty" to describe women but not in the context of flirting with them. When I was flirting I never used compliments except for a few occasions -- that was one of them. I really liked her nose.

I also got the sense that she was insecure about her nose which was what partially prompted me, but I genuinely thought her nose and the way it fit her face was beautiful. It took both of those components for me to compliment her nose.

I dated a girl who was almost 6 feet tall and she was just big all over. She had a large face and a big nose. She didn't like her nose and thought it was too big. I told her that it fit her face perfectly. She would look silly with a tiny nose Big noses can be attractive.

I would try to date girl 1 and 3. I only date girls with big noses, but the shape is important, too.
