Why did women have such thin eyebrows in the early 2000's?

I was watching a movie from the early 2000's and I noticed how every girl seemed to have really thin eyebrows lol. It was like they were all trying to go for the same look.

Oh my! I was born in 2004, and I hope that trend NEVER comes back. (Of course, I was a baby back then and all, but looking back at the movies, that trend was awful). My mum had full, groomed eyebrows and didn't go overboard with the trend

Those thin eyebrows look horrendous, lol

Soap brows are in now.. and I assure you, people are going to look back and cringe at this as well

It was just the style I guess. lol my mom still does her eyebrows that way

Yeah it's still not a bad look I guess but personally I think thicker eyebrows look better.
