There is no such thing as "normal clothes". There are styles that are commonly worn, and styles that are less popular and attract attention. Wear whatever you like that is appropriate for the situation. If your school has a dress code, I'm sorry about that but you'll have to conform if you are going to continue attending.

When my child was about 12 I started giving her a clothing allowance, I think it was $125/month. I told them I didn't care what they wore as long as I didn't get called to school.

  I expect it has some restrictions, like the requirement to wear something covering the torso (or most of it), and the genitals. Probably the require shoes too.

  when I was in school a dress more than three inches above the knees was to short. twenty years earlier and showing your knees and the dress was to short. Thanks to the sixties today I love mini skirts... ;)

Normal clothes that are not specific ones, such as party clothes.

would include everything from jeans and blouse to miniskirt and crop top

It is about social standards that specify accepted patterns. Twenty years ago people knew exactly what to wear, no hesitation but nowadays those patterns are unclear.
