Can I ask women who get tight braids done a question?

As someone who has a tender head I see these videos of all these really braid styles but also they look so tight. It hurts my head to even think about it lol. Does it not hurt y'all who get it done or are y'all just hiding the pain lol? Not trying to be rude, genuine question 😂

Seems to me they may damage the hair if they are tight. If you notice your hair thinning you now know the cause.

They usually hurt at first, but get better after the first few days.

Yeah, true. Though it definitely depends on the braider. Some are able to do it without pain, even some of the African ones.
