Should I buy this dress to wear under my graduation gown?

I have been looking for a white dress or romper for SO LONG to go under my grad gown because my graduation is in a month. Do you think that this romper would be suitable for my graduation convocation in the morning?

It seems a bit short but then again I don't do convocation. Looking back I would have been just as happy to skip the whole thing.
