shoes and trousers, brown shoes do not have such a wide option as black and other Colours are even more limited.

if in doubt just wear totally black or maybe some purple thrown in.

Shoes and belt color should match. Pants and shirt or jacket should match. If you're wearing a watch, the bad should match your belt/shoes. Socks can be crazy or match the pants. Ties can also be an accent piece and don't need to match. They should at least pair well colorwise with the outfit.
