I go commando often in leggin's and when it's hot and I am wearing a skirt or dress longer than my fingertips if we are just going out for dinner or a movie but not visiting someone's home.

Yes, quite often if I know I'm going to be staying around the apartment most of the day, I just shove a demin skirt on. Super comfy. I'll even walk over to the local shop if I need something, without bothering to put underwear on. The only time I would definitely not wear a skirt or dress without underwear is if I knew I was going somewhere with steps/stairs, or if I was going to be using public transport or something.
