Will men's underwear fashion keep evolving?

Women's underwear seems to change dramatically rather quickly with different styles, materials and technology. Will men's underwear evolve into something totally new? Or is it just boxers, briefs, boxer briefs, and the other usual suspects forever?

Practicalness, and comfort, are paramount. You can have goofy colored underwear under your business suit or work overalls, but if it is not comfortable, forget it.

i do think materials evolve to make things more comfortable but thats probably it.
