What, if any, kind of profile pictures of guys will drive women wild, and help increase matches for me?

I want to add that this thread was specifically about the profile picture only, but has turned into more of a discussion about the bio.

If I wanted feedback about my bio, I would have posted that in another thread...

I read your bio blurb on another comment and wanted to share my 2 cents.

It's not the picture that's not getting you matches.
I would say it probably has more to do with your bio.

It's great to share a bit about yourself, so they can make a decision, but you have to also remember that everyone in this day and age has an extremely short attention span.

I guarantee that most of the women that come across your profile won't even read half way through your bio before they will probably give up. And, instead of connecting they'll just carry on because they don't want to be bothered reading the rest of it.

This is nothing to do with you as a person. It's just how people are now.

It's possible that your picture grabs their attention but the bio scares them off.

What you could do is put a short but sweet summary at the top. Something that's you and sounds genuine.

Most of what you shared in your bio takes away most of the conversation starter questions, so they might also be thinking... what the heck do I ask him to start off a chat?

Leaving some mystery is definitely something that would intrigue more women to message you in my opinion.

I have heard about the attention span portion of this, but here is my counter to that:

I read bios in full. I do think there is a such thing as being too long. However, I see it as the opposite. A short bio tells me there is nothing to the person. Imagine seeing " I like having fun and traveling". That's it? Hard pass for me. There is plenty to talk about in person, and well beyomd a 4000 word bio.

So while you are not wrong that people have short attention spans, said people are not the people I want to be with anyway.

I totally agree! There is definitely a fine line between too brief and too long.
You can definitely put a short paragraph. I'm not at all saying to put a one liner.
I was just saying that the bio you were using might have to do with your lack of matches.

I could be wrong! It was just my take. That's all. 😊

Guys are terrible at taking photos. Its terrible or they look like a total douche. No in between. Just my opinion. I saw one photo of a guy that was pretty good and I think the key was that it looked very natural.

I consider myself a gamer nerd. I like to learn about the history and development of the video game industry, and watch a lot of youtubers that dabble in it. How about you make what you think is the best bio you can come up with. Not too brief, but not too long either. Consise, yet descriptive. Accurate about you, but leaves enough mystery.

See where I'm going with this? Not so easy is it? Since what may repulse one person, may attract another. But you don't know who that is, or when that will be.

But by all means, provide this. Since, you're the expert.

I have multiple apps with varying bios, so not all are as long. Its not uncommon for people who are serious to do that on Match. Social media links or usernames only would make me think the person just wants followers. I would swipe left on that.

Transport mean buses, train , tram and airplane. Taxi and underground train.
