Does anyone here have any experience with IPL for hair removal?

I’m tired of epilating and shaving. I want a more permanent solution and I can’t afford electrolysis or laser. The Braun series 5 IPL devices are around $375 and I’m planning on ordering one. There are an extremely trusted brand and they say with with initial regular use and touch ups monthly you can stay hairless wherever you use it. Any experiences?

Since I originally posted that a couple of months ago, I did end up purchasing it. There are areas where it does sting, but isn’t everything in life worth a little sacrifice? After weekly treatment for about 6 weeks now I’d say that I’m getting great results. I love the feeling and the looks of a hair free body. My wife certainly appreciates it. I follow the directions exactly and so far, so great! Any pain is like a rubber band snap. It’s most noticeable around the butt and about an inch in either direction. The results far outweigh any discomfort.
