Girls, You buu cheap or expensive bra and panties?

Well yes and no. I don't buy particularly expensive underwear. I would say somewhat in between expensive and cheap. Middle of the road. Some of the lingerie that I have is pricy, but I don't own that much of that sort of thing.

Bras are another story. I tend to go higher end just because they hold up better (no pun intended). Some brands seemingly get destroyed so quick after washing them for a while. The higher end brands that I buy stand up to that much better. They also don't seem to fade as much.

I don't buy bras that often, so it isn't something I mind spending a little more on. The next reason is comfort. Having a larger bust for my size body causes some physical issues. I have (minor) neck and back trouble at times. A good bra really helps minimize that.

If I don't have good, solid support, those issues creep back. Also important to get fitted properly and higher end stores definitely take more time making sure you have the proper sizing. Even the best bra, if not sized properly, isn't going to help with support.

How long does a quality bra last?

A good quality bra should last a year with normal washing. That is about how long it lasts for me. It can vary. I might get more than that out of them. I wear certain ones more than others.

I have a strapless that I have had for much longer because it gets minimal use and therefore not washed as much either. Kind of like mileage on a good car. Sure, dependable car is going to last longer no matter what. Dependable car not often use lasts a very long time.

Not being plus sized myself, I can only take a guess that it is two things. One, the construction is probably more substantial and two the volume is lower. If you like the car references, I would liken it to the Americans that by those ridiculous Humvee things. Solid built but low numbers = expensive.
