What are your thoughts on the socks over leggings look?

I'm in college but my friend thinks only middle schoolers wear it. I love it ;_;

Socks are there to keep your feet warm. So that's also a consideration for your health.

If I look at this from a fashion point of view, I'd say this "protection against cold" (socks) highly contradicts with those shoes. This setup looks like "home and comfy". Then I'd alter this setup with:

- Wear longer shoes, e g boots that go at least above your ankle. These shoes look something for indoors which is not intended to be fashionette. Don't expect much glow.

- Wear the same color of socks as your leggings. Or short "secret" socks.

- Personal opinion: when it comes to leggings and fashion and I wear leggings as pants then I pick faux leather material and a matching top like on my avatar. This hoodie + cotton leggings don't mix well somehow.
