Would you consider getting surgery if 80 percent of the cost were covered by somebody else?

I don’t want to tell you where I live but I decide to go through with orthodontic surgery 80 percent of the cost would be covered by the government since the surgery is consider medical reconstruction and not cosmetic.

What exactly? Even medical and not cosmetic surgeries can be detrimental.

Imagine if you were one of those people to get an expensive surgery to treat something, such as removing a bone, then it makes your condition even worse?

In some cases people find out what's really going on and fix it, then regret the unneeded bone removal.

Which is something I suspect may happen to you, since you ask us. If you knew that the life saving surgery has to be done, you wouldn't be asking strangers.

Other than dislocated bones or whatever it's called, it made him less masculine.

And yes there are cases when its needed.

I got told by the orthodontist I have an uneven jaw. That’s why I get a rebate from the government if I decide to go through with the orthodontic surgery.
I’m satisfied with the size of my nose, ears, lips and forehead etc

If the problem lies in the jaw, modify the jaw. However often the problem lies in another place in the body, even rooted in the hips often, causing the whole body to be twisted. In those cases surgeries are dangerous.

I know it’s possible but it’s uncommon for surgeries to go very wrong to the point a person dies.

I just imagine if the surgery went well for me it would improve my self confidence a lot. I have had low self esteem for many years unfortunately.

Again, there is no question about it if the problem is below the jaw, and many professionals would refuse to modify your jaw or they find out that your problem is for example in the neck.

And most of my medical is only covered 80% anyway so I always have to cover 20% of it until I reach my max deductible then it’s 100% covered but I don’t need any kind of cosmetic surgery and hopefully no other surgeries again
