Has anyone here ever tried modeling? Do you have any tips?

Tomorrow I have an appointment with a local agency that scouts for acting and modeling talent. I'm completely new to this and am half doing it as a joke, half seriously.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, especially from those with experience.

Not that I can think of but I WAS prop manager and assistant stage manager for a local magician for 2 years and also put together some of his music and then helped with his t. v. the next year. On stage, in between illusions, I'd step out front with his prop table with the next close-up trick on it set up and ready to go and I got more applause than he did!
Most of the professional pictures ever taken of me were with my band. But, I was never pictured on any of our album covers.

I really just went to ask questions. I thought about maybe being a model in clothing photos or something. I'd be best suited as a voice actor, I think.

You can start with Influenster. You can write a review wither its written or video. They send you free stuff to try out. If its fashion maybe ask for the clothing line as you do more reviews the stuff gets nicer and nicer.
