What do you think of this outfit, for office wear? What impression does it give to you?

I work in the IT division of a logistics firm. The office is mixed of logistic experts, managers and IT experts. I don't often meet customers, but rather work "behind the scenes" say. There is no specific dress code (for us in IT at least), they often go with jeans & T-Shirt or button-shirt in some cases. We don't wear suites in the everyday.

What occasion could this go for?

that's appropriate for walking around Milan fashion area or NYC soho. It's too much for work. you have to consider other people when dressing for business.

In the workplace, as a company owner, I would be disappointed and note for review. Sexual arousal of employees is a no-no. YOu are all there to work and focus on work. This is an unnecessary distraction and I would find a way to taint your review. I am not raising the wages of someone who behaves like this and pollutes other employees and takes both my work time and their attention.

Not only that but companies like logistics / IT firms are showing off areas to potential clients, etc. No business owner or manager either is going to want someone dressed like "after hours entertainment" to embarass the business and make them look anything but professional.

If she is on a probationary period she would most definitely be fired after 90 days for attending work like this. Or as you said this would definitely be written quite negatively in her review. Particularly if she has dressed inappropriately at work before.

Hopefully in your area you don't meet upper management or potential clientele of the firm because any respectable company would fire you on the spot.

Companies don't really care what their employees wear as long as it is PROFESSIONAL and makes the company look PROFESSIONAL. Not makes the company look like they're hiring strippers for an after hours party.

And as Guy13 said companies DO NOT want ANYONE who serves as a distraction and causes a NUISANCE at their workforce. If you are on probation you would most definitely be FIRED at the end of 90 days if you went like this.

The wet / leather look also suggests you are up for a party!

In fact it's not quite hot -- rather quite breathable, requires a heated place around like 18-20 Celsius at least 😄

I have worked with more than enough people in office and other environments to know that how a person dresses does not dictact how they perform in the job.
I do think that dressing suggestively can provide a distraction for other workers, but that is a different topic.

Trust me, women can be pissed off by how other women dress in the same office. Like one day there was a photo shooting day. Dress code was well defined for that day. Including colors, style, not to wear sleeveless (for women) tops.
One woman (not me!) wore sleeveless despite. You can't possibly imagine the anger amongst females. Like "if it was allowed, I would also have picked a similar piece" etc... 🙄

Suite wearers are not dying breed, it's just more specific to certain sectors of the industry. Consultants often wear suites in their department, well if one ever wears a suite they joke them "are you going to a job interview, what's wrong?" :D

Even in Hatton Garden, a suit makes you stand out hence I only wore one the first time, I wore a suit to my only job and got called a pretentious prick

Im not so sure its for working in public in most places but we are changing the world right ,, its not slutty its not for all to see.. but its a nice look if you have that type of body for sure.. more like something you would wear going out on the town if your not in a dress..
