What do random grey hairs on my mustache mean?

I don't have have grey hair anywhere else. I moved back in December and that's when when I started noticing it. I have really hard well water and my hair just feels terrible. It's all rough and everything. I've heard hard water can cause grey hair

Stache hair sometimes has a different color than beard or hair. I notice sometimes I get red/ blonde in my stache

Im serious, in the spring / summer my stache grows in with more blonde and red hairs…I have no blonde or red on the rest of my body. Someone once asked me If I dyed my stache because it looks remarkable…lololol. So I have read that stache and beard hair can take in different colors

My uncle was in his 30's when he went grey. I think Steve Martin (who looks exactly like my uncle) was also going grey in his early to mid 30's.

I just wonder why it's only the mustache and not the rest of my beard. Is that where it typically starts?

For beard hair, it's usually starting at the corners of the mouth.
For head hair, it's usually starting at the temples.
My 50+ year old colleagues are perfect examples.

I used to have a math teacher in 5th grade whose hair was completely dark brown exceppt for one large oval spot just above his left eye where it was completely white, like somebody hit just that spot with white spray paint.
There's a comedian I know of who's completely red except for one small grey area on the right side of his chin.
