There's not enough integrity in the tissue to keep them from looking/becoming all crooked and cockeyed, and you better hope they pierce them straight and symmetrical or else it's going to look really bad. Plus, those fang nibs will limit the mobility of your lips and they may catch or dig in while talking, eating, etc. Not to mention it won't look good if your lips ever chap. If you like fangs, why not just save up and have real fangs installed?

I would have wanted them so bad back when I was younger. They look really nice. If you don't commit to alternative fashion for life they will end up looking ridiculous tho. Even then it's hard not to look ridiculous at least in the eyes of most people, when wearing alt fashion past a certain age. They look painful to get and very reject risky. I wouldn't recommand them to people who aren't past late 20s, confident in themselves and really commited to the look

Don't they interfere with eating your food? Or in the case of nose rings, don't they interfere with blowing your nose? (I have lots of sinus issues so I just could never get one, not even in my punk rock kid days).

I get piercings that draw attention to a nice face, or ones on your naughty parts that give you an erotic thrill, but aren't the fang piercings on your face just impractical?
