Which of these would you wear? I'm looking to update my wardrobe for winter, so I'd be interested in hearing opinions

I'm speaking specifically about the coats on pics 1, 2, 4 and 7, sweaters on pics 3, 6 and 8 and jackets on pic 5 and last from bottom. I wouldn't necessarily style/pair them with the same pieces that are on the pics.
I had a guy saying that they're all atrocious. What about these coats make them atrocious? A lot of people wear coats in the winter; they're neutral, versatile and elegant in my opinion
