Nails that are too long and look like claws are kinda grotesque, in my opinion. And they would (it seems to me) make it very difficult for a girl to do simple tasks that are part of normal life, like typing on a computer keyboard. I prefer nails that are a moderate length, like just beyond the fingertip. By the way girls, one thing that can really turn your guy on is if you gently press the tips of your nails into his chest; not so hard that it hurts, but just a little bit, or maybe draw them lightly down his chest!

I don't like designs that call attention to themselves, but I really like solid pink or silver nails ( a very much loved ex-girlfriend of mine used to have that). They make a girl's hands look sexy! But I can't stand black or purple nails! They make me think of monster movies! And bright red nails remind me too much of blood! Dracula, anyone?

As my name indicates, I'm a lover of longer nails (on women) - natural nails that is. I don't view gluing pieces of plastic on your fingers as nails --- they're plastic! Acrylic or gels over your own nails is a different thing, but I digress. I think less is more when it comes to nails. Strange designs or placing other objects on them is not attractive to me, so no, I don't like that. You can call it "art" all day long, but it's not art to me.

They can be quite attractive - if you have the right nails for them. But, I'm guessing most would be fake anyway as they will not last long if you use your hands a lot.

I wouldn't try doing the nails in the last pic.

i have very strict standards for what i like and i'm a violinist so i have to have my nails done in a very specific way, and i wear fake nails a lot on my left hand
