Does distance seem farther and summer or winter?

I hate winters, so I try to make a trip from point A to point B as fast as possible. But during the summer it's totally opposite. I can do many side trips only because something caught my attention :D

So during the winter, it looks longer because of the cold, but in reality is faster, because I don't wander around
And during the summer it looks shorter because is warm and cosy but takes much more time :D
