That’s brilliant and yes I’ve done similar. It is often crazy how when fancy dress parties or theme parties come up, how quickly guys will get into a short skirt and heels. I had a mate complimented on his sexy arse, he was in tight black skirt, stockings and heels. What your mates did those is amazing, paying homage to a friend is really something you feel in your heart and you know you are loved. If I was to do the same with friends, it would work with some as they have a similar original type view on their look, others it’s jeans or combat pants n boots n hoodies, not sure how the latter would go down lol.

My style is quite varied so everyone was able to wear something that was still me but they were comfortable with too. One of my friends is trans so nobody expected him to put on a frilly skirt, he opted for my baggy cargo pants and hoodie style with a bandana 💕
