Mine are brown and somewhat lighter than Japanese being half-white.

I would say I'm around the "Chestnut" one above.

Although "poop brown" works too. 😁💩

@Jennz6 They look rather green to me as well in that lightning although I'm really bad with discerning eye colors. I've heard hazel eyes tend to change color appearance a lot based on lighting. Mine always just look brown regardless of the lighting.

@Jennz6 I have a friend like that. He has a bit of trouble distinguishing between green, brown, and red, so sometimes he'll say things like, "Hand me the brown one," when there's no brown thing. I've kind of learned what he means though hanging out with him to know it's the green one, for example.

Your eyes actually look quite green to me although I've never been very good at understanding all the different categories for eye colors. In Japan, most Japanese are either "Deep" or "Cocoa" in the above chart.

interestingly enough they look black without light

when there is light though you expect it to turn a brown colour but it doesn't it becomes almost yellow, like a cats, i even have a photo from high school i show when people don't believe it when i say this.
