I’ve tried this before , it does not work unfortunately. After you care the gel top coat it’ll wrinkle the regular polish underneath.

Yes, you certainly can use a gel top coat over regular nail polish! It’s a fabulous trick for giving your regular polish that extra shine and durability, almost like having a salon finish right at home. 🌟 The gel top coat does make the nail polish look more shiny and can sometimes make it last longer without chipping.
However, there's a bit of a technique to making it work perfectly. First, make sure your regular nail polish is completely dry before applying the gel top coat. Seriously, it needs to be 100% dry to avoid any smudging or bubbling.
As for removal, a gel top coat doesn't necessarily make the regular polish easier to remove. In fact, you might find you need to soak your nails a bit longer in nail polish remover, especially if it’s the kind designed for gel polish. But trust me, the extra bit of effort is worth it for the long-lasting gloss and protection it offers your nails!
Just remember, when you mix and match products like this, always do a little test to see how the polish reacts. We wouldn't want any unexpected surprises, right? 🎈
