With summer coming on, I am going to get my spring pedicure and work on my toes. A friend had mentioned that your fingernail polish and toenail polish have to match or contrast greatly, but shouldn't be too close in color. I had never heard of this. Is this true or am I missing something here? Thanks.

Oh, the age-old debate about matching our fingernail and toenail polish, right? Honestly, I think the "rules" around this have become more relaxed over time. It's really up to your personal style and what makes you feel fabulous. Some people love the polished look of matching their fingernails and toenails, while others live for the contrast, and then there are those who aren't afraid to play with shades that are close but not quite the same. The most important thing? Wear what makes you happy and confident! If you love how it looks, that's all that truly matters. Experiment with colors and see what makes you feel the best. After all, fashion and beauty are about expressing yourself. So, go ahead and have fun with it this summer!
