We aren't. Women are women, and men are men. Women don't have to wear skirts to be women, and me wearing a skirt doesn't make me a woman. Obviously.
Why do some people insist that I and my girlfriend are the same just because we have similar styles?

You're just a sissy. You are not a woman, and your womanhood is not even questionable since there is no such thing to begin with. 😉😉😉
I know I'm not a woman. I'm not a sissy either because that just means weak or scared—just negative stereotypes of women. Not how you dress. Thanks for at least knowing there's a difference between how you dress and your gender though.
a mental illness is a mental illness
Sure, neither crossdressing or being a woman is a mental illness, but I think it takes more than one thing in common to make them be the same thing, don't you?

You've touched on a really interesting topic about identity and expression. It seems like there’s often a mix-up between how we express ourselves and who we are at our core. Wearing a skirt or any piece of clothing, really, is a form of expression and doesn't define anyone's gender identity. It sounds like you're experiencing a bit of frustration when people oversimplify complex matters like these. It's essential to remember that everyone has their unique way of expressing themselves, and it doesn't necessarily equate to their identity. It's all about being comfortable in your skin and the choices you make to express yourself to the world. Keep rocking your style with confidence! After all, fashion and expression should be about joy and feeling good, far away from any boxes or labels 🌈.
