Can people tell if you drunk alcohol the night before?

It didn't make any severe changes to my appearance, only causing my face and eyes to be relaxed and my blue eyebags to get darker, yet a couple of people stared at me, also when i walked past them. I even changed the shirt that i was drinking in to a new one to wear today. Can people smell it off your face/hair?

Not if it was restricted to one or two. More than that cannot be processed by body due to aldehydes in alcohol, very toxic to liver and kidneys. If you were loaded the previous night they probably can tell through smell ( yes, including vodka) and your sleep is thrown out of kilter so you usually wake up tired and it generally shows as bleary eyed. Your post noted where the smell might come from. It's usually directly from your pores/skin when it's been so much alcohol ( more than 4-6 drinks). It smells like a rotting sweet smell

Sometimes if you drink a lot of alcohol, your body metabolizes it and you actually respirate it. You can smell it on your breath. If you drink a lot for a prolonged period of time it will come out your pores. At the gym I used ot work out at there was a guy that absolutely reeked of booze. On Saturday morning I would be working out and suddenly I could smell booze so when Iwould look around this guy was always around.

Especially us non drinkers. We can smell the alcohol oozing from your pores. Also, alcohol makes you looked flushed.

The dad in me wants to tell you to stop because your underage, so I will let the friend in me tell you don't build bad habits that can alter the course of your life. You are just getting started and have a lot of life to look forward to.

Depending on what and how much you drank, alcohol changes the body odor (via sweat). I could always tell when a colleague was drinking heavily the day before.

Possibly, I know a late associate who drank gin (1-2 bottles a day) would literally sweat juniper enough to stick to your clothes let alone his own

It comes from you digestive system and the smell of alcohol comes from your skins pores
