What's the reason behind men including shaving facial hair in their grooming routine?

I will never understand why people like the clean-shaven look. Short beard complements most men's appearances.

I think it’s funny when the boy answers. Last time she answered about when she bought clothes lol

well to answer the question I think some men think they look older with face hair so they remove it in an attempt to take a few years off but they don’t realize most look better with it even if they look older.

and other men feel it itches so even if they wanted it they prefer to remove it because they don’t want to be scratching and find that annoying or uncomfortable

and then the rare occasion in which some men have too many bald spots in the beard section and they feel it looks unattractive to let it grow with missing parts.

I think no beard sometimes makes them look a bit childish. There are some who look fine or even better without a beard, but in general beards add character in my opinion. But I guess it's up to everyone and whatever makes them feel more comfortable.

I started in my teens so, I didn't have other reasons than not liking the look or feels of hair on my face... I very much prefer a clean cut feel and look

later in life, then yes... because of my ex-girlfriends who did like a bit of a stubble, then I would grow some for them, and it didn't really feel that bad at all, nor looked bad

I do both. I shave but I also leave it sometimes. I think I look fine with both but shaved looks a bit more proper and like you're taking care of yourself :P

I hate how itchy it gets the first few weeks of growing a beard and my past girlfriends hated me cuddling with them and rubbing my cheeks against hers.
