Do women ever wear bikinis as underwear?

So I've noticed that through my dude eyes their underwear and bikini look basically the same, I think it's just the fabrics that seems different but maybe not even, so do women ever wear their bikini which are basically bathing suits as underwear?

There's some that are obvious they are underwear and obvious they are bathing suits but many look pretty much the same 💀

It’s not something I do very often. Bikinis are thicker material and not as comfy as underwear under clothes long term. The only times I have done it was if I knew I was going swimming or to the beach and would not have a chance to change. Then I would wear a bikini under my clothes till i got wherever I was going to

Bikini material is not necessary the most comfortable for every day wear. It’s nice to wear to the beach because the materials hold well in water when swimming. Plus bikini material drying time is shorter than panties.
panties are made with cotton and such materials and it doesn’t make that sound like swim suits. Plus more comfortable for long day wear.
They do mostly look the same but the feel is kinda different.

by the way, not catching me using bikinis as underwear mainly due to different materials, def not comfortable to wear under clothes. Even tho they look very similar, can certainly feel the diff.

the fabric for bikini isn't the breathing one... so I wouldn't wear it as my underwear for sure... I prefer cotton, as a fabric touching my skin for the whole day

nope. Panties and bras are mostly cotton, and bikinis are spandex. It's just different.

No they are a bit of a weird material and feel different to underwear. If I wear swimwear under clothing it’s because I am in some sort of proximity to a pool/the sea

Materials for swimsuits/bikinis are sort of the same as the "wicking" material. Coverage and cut are better as well. They're made to withstand the technical bloopers of the summer heat. Silk... is not.
