Tan lines: do you find them beautiful or not at all?

You all know those tan lines where you can easily see where the straps of a bikini top didn't let the sun get to the skin, the outlines on a woman's breast on the part where she was covered vs. the part that did get sun, or at the hips where the bikini bottom is.

I find it quite sexy when my wife has tan lines. She's usually a tone or two lighter around her boobs. She'll wear different tops, or loosen the straps to get her shoulders tanned. Although as summer progresses, she'll get to a point where she wants the tan and goes topless at the beach.

Do you guys find it sexy, beautiful or awkward when a girl has clear tan lines?

The same goes for girls, do you find it sexy, beautiful... when a guy has a dark tan and no tan at all where his swimming shorts prevented the sun to get to the skin?
