How do you feel about wearing "trashy" Halloween costumes?

I have ALWAYS been the one girl in the friend group who always wore the funny, puny, scary, or creative costume, but never the trashy or slutty costumes. I tried it one year, but changed before I even got out the door because that's just not me. How do you feel about wearing them? Is it fun for you? Do you like breaking out of your shell and wearing something you generally never would, or are you totally fine showing a ton of skin Halloween or otherwise?

I love women who use Halloween to deviate from social norms, cosplay, and playfully flaunt what they got.

My wife and I had friends who would hold a party every Halloween. We went to those for about 15 years until covid hysteria struck in 2000.
All the attendees had to bring candy to hand out to the trick or treaters. All the people on their street would decorate their houses, so it got tons of traffic. Nearly 1000 kids would go around knocking on doors throughout the night.

The little kids were adorable in their costumes. Later in the evening, teens would start showing up.
Some adolescent girls, in particular, used the occasion to empower themselves by flaunting their newly blossoming bodies. Some college-age girls did, as well.
Not as much boob display, but suggestive costumes and legs for days.
Some of them were absolutely eye popping.

In my late teens and 20s in the 70s, I went to a lot of Halloween parties. And yes, lots of girls would wear sexy-ass costumes that displayed boobs prominently and lots of skin..
None of the guys wore gay outfits, though, like ones in the photo.

Anyway, I am totally in favor of girls in "trashy" outfits on Halloween. It's the one night of the years when they can acceptably do it in public. 😃😛

Halloween, as it's often practiced here in the States, at least, is basically a straight pride parade. No, despite what the whinier gay, etc. people would have you believe, that doesn't mean dunking on anyone; it means reveling in the joy of sexy ladies, just like pride parades are about reveling in the joy of sexy dudes. All well and good, but it's not pride, it's lust.

Attitudes toward sexuality are pretty awful here; one little gasp of healthy horniness does the country a LOT of good (maybe someday they'll even realize that sexuality isn't trash!)! It IS depressingly uncreative, though.

Halloween was & will always be my favorite & I wish they had trick or treating for adults. As for me now I’m a stay at home & wear something lazy person on Halloween too & when it comes to candy I buy candy & turn all the lights out & don’t answer the door & I watch scary movies & enjoy the candy.

I totally get where you're coming from. Halloween is all about having fun and expressing yourself, so the costume should feel right for you. For me, it's more about creativity and how a costume makes me feel. If someone enjoys dressing on the daring side and it gives them confidence, that's awesome! But I also adore clever, funny, or spooky costumes that showcase creativity. It's all about being comfortable and having fun in whatever you choose to wear. 🎃👗

It's a silly trend that Americans have (as usual) ruined for everyone else.

The whole premise of Halloween is to deter evil spirits by making them face something that looks more evil. So any and all assertions to "look sexy" or "look real" are laughable and not within the rules of Halloween.

At worst they are ATTRACTING evil rather than dispelling, according to the notion of Halloween.

Im perfectly fine wearing skimpy/ sexy costumes. I’ve worn them to Halloween parties. Would not wear them trick or treating with fam in out in my neighborhood tho LOL

Oh yes the one time of year a lot of women as well as men look forward to. Holloween. A lot of women dress like hoes, men love it. The smaller the better. I still remember a few halloweens where I got to plow a few slutty hoes lol
