Do you have a beard to keep your face warm?

In my country a lot of men who work outdoors grow a bushy beard to help keep their face warm and protect it from the harsh elements. Most women shave their faces or keep their beards short.

Very funny question actually. Indeed having a beard makes a real difference when the temperature outdoors gets low. That's not the reason for me to have a beard mind, because I merely hate shaving since ever, but when I trim it in winter, I just notice the difference...

Now, concerning women, let me tell you that, although my wife did not have a real beard, she was the one to shave regularly her moustache, in spite of her having been Venetian blonde, which means no one would ever have noticed her very thin transparent soft moustache... Black haired hairy ladies have some reasons to worry mind...;0)

It's winter here so yes I have a beard a lot of times I let it grow bushy but since it's that time of year of Christmas I have it all trimmed up but I am ready for the bush

I don't have a beard. I think they are mostly for men with weak jawlines to hide it. It is men's version of makeup. Both are meant to hide flaws.

When I can tolerate it long enough to grow it out. If I use the wrong soap it feels like I'm wearing a bag of fleas on my face. It looks pretty good, though. This girl got mad at me for cutting it off last year.
