Girls, What do you keep in your purse?

Question

I am aware that many under 30 don't carry a purse. For all those women that carry a purse, what are essentials that you keep in it? As for me, I carry wet wipes, a small compact, sometimes a small tube of lipstick, hand lotion, gum sometimes, a brush, a wallet, feminine hygiene products, and sometimes my boyfriend's stuff that he doesn't want to or cannot carry. These are essentials for me, and I don't see how women who don't carry a purse can do without. Since many young ladies don't carry a purse, this spiked my interest. Where do you store stuff? Ladies that carry a purse, what are essentials that you keep in your purse. I know that some of it may be personal, but my guess is that we carry some of the same products. I mostly switch in between my backpacks on everyday basis.

Hand sanitizer, Kleenex, lip balm, manicure set (nail clipper, pincent, tweezers, scissors), tampons and pads + reusable for myself, keys, hand lotion, a case for my glasses, something to clean my glasses with, a pair of sunglasses when it's bright, sun lotion when the UV is up, 3 reusable bags, keys, coins, 2 calenders, 1 smaller notebook and a pen.

In my larger bag unusually have a larger notebook too + some work stuff I need to read upon (yay playful learning 🤢)

Think that was it.

When I use my purse I'll have: my phone, my keys, kleenez and maybe some fix me up make up.

right now in mine there's: two pocket mirrors (one with different light settings, tissues, my credit card, airpods, two puffs, sample perfume cards, blotting paper, pens, mini notepad, a pouch (with random stuff like earrings, more tissues, hair ties, and a mini first aid kid contained desinfectant, gauze and bandaids), my house keys, mini hand sani, breath spray, little fan and digital touch pen. usually i add my phone and my lipstick if i'm wearing any that day and a couple makeup products for retouches. can add my id too

That's such a relatable question! For me, it's usually a mix of essentials and a little room for surprises. I always have my phone, wallet, and keys in there, of course. A compact mirror and some lipstick for touch-ups are must-haves. I can't go without my hand sanitizer and a small bottle of hand cream 🔑. Tissues and a tiny pack of wet wipes always find their way in too. Depending on the day, I might throw in sunglasses, a snack, or a little memento from a recent trip—it’s like a bag full of life's little necessities and occasional surprises 😂.

Okay, so I always have my wallet, phone, and keys, duh! I can’t go anywhere without my lip gloss or a cute lipstick for quick touch-ups. Hand sanitizer and tissues are a must, and I always keep some gum or mints on hand too. I also make sure to have a hair tie, because you never know when you need to throw your hair up. Oh, and a charger—can’t risk my phone dying! Maybe a little snack or my fave pain meds just in case, but mostly it's all about being cute and prepared!

When I was under 30 I did! But yeah, I had to "train" myself to do that when I turned 18. Just the lipstick/key/ID size. I was always leaving that thing everywhere then finally dumped it in my messenger bag. True confession? To this day I still hate purses and dump them in my messenger bag.

i stuff everything into my pockets. it’s really bad😭. but if i do take a purse, then it’ll have gum, brushes, and food. lovee how you have everything a girlyy could ask for in your purseee🫶. I should take lessonss 💕

I have 2 categories of everyday carry:

1-the essentials. This is the absolute bare minimum that I'd bring with me in a tiny clutch or little crossbody bag, for a walk out, concert, or other events; usually money, my keys and phone

2- for a random/casual day out, a trip to the shops, running errands, or work I usually carry with me my keys, a card holder containing my id card, license, leather key wallet, disinfectant wipes, handsanitizer, lip balm or chapstick, several pens (in case one of them runs out of ink), female sanitary products, pads, a reusable water bottle, sunglasses in a case, tickets for public transportation , a medical covid N95 mask, hair scrunchie, sunscreen lotion and cap/hat (for hot summer days) and maybe some snack or protein bar
