How do you feel about your white hairs?
Im curious to find out!
I used to fight them. That just made more appear. Ever since it started appearing on my facial hair though, I've become a fan.
Ahahah yaaaay!
Im glad you are a fan now
What about thr facial hair made you a fan?
xD. .
My wife found some a few years ago, but not on me, she was mad! about 6 months ago, she was running her fingers through my hair, and found a couple. She jumped up and screamed "YES".
ππππ waiting for you to catch up to her ahahah
Bitch, JK!
πππ
I love your perspective on seeing white hairs as unicorn strands! 😊 I share similar feelings. To me, these changes are fascinating and tell the story of our life's journey. White hairs have their own charm, and embracing them can be quite empowering. The way they catch the light is indeed magical, adding a touch of elegance and individuality. Itβs all part of the natural beauty we carry! 🌟

Doesn't bother me. Women seem to like the salt and pepper look on men
Ummmm yeah! Richard gere and George Clooney were super hot when they sported the salt and pepper look. Seasoned men are *chefs kiss*
Finding bodily damage and decay as attractive is gross and sets a social example that leads to more people ignoring health problems instead of fixing them.
White hairs are a sign that that hair follicle is dying.
Pluck it out so it gets microtears that feed it blood so has a chance to regenerate properly next time.
It can also be because of malnutrition... lack of certain vitamins can cause white hairs too. But plucking out hairs can also cause damage to the follicle. So ill take my chances and not pluck them
That is the same thing. If malnourished the body or parts of it starts dying.
I've had grays/whites since I was a teen. Even shows up in my beard. I have a small gray patch I got around 20. I call it (my wife's name patch) as a inside joke of her causing it.
Lmao πππ she branded you? π
Well happens to everyone at some
Point
No feelings about it? Just accepting of it logically? Ahha
I guess it can suck getting old lol but when youβre older youβll look back and think you were your then
I think it does suck getting old if you dont feel like you lived to your fullest... or when you put too much emphasis on youth and outward appeal without working internally and learning true self love.
They peak too early I think lol
True. When youβre 30 youβll think youβre so old. Looking back on your teens and 20s. Likeβ¦. How did it go by so fast.
By the time youβre 50 youβll look back at your 30s-40s like wowβ¦.. Iβm so old now. When youβre 70-100 youβll look back on your 50s and 60sβ¦
Exactly.. take away? You will always feel you were younger looking back. So time to feel young in the here and now regardless ahaha
I agree. Even as a kid I looked back on my toddler years as the golden years. Like I never had to go to school I could get away with anything. As a teen looking back on my childhood years I just missed it. As a adult looking back on your teenage years. As someone middle aged looking back on their young adulthood. As a elderly person looking back on their middle aged years. Until finallyβ¦. Our times up.
Tomorrow is a mystery and yesterday is history. But the present is a gift. We should absolutely plan for the future and cherish moments of the past. But the happiest times of peoples lives is when they are living in the present moment.
Yeah, its never ending right?
I like that phrase "tomorrow is a mystery and yesterday is history"
Exactly, I think its important to have a balanced approach. Dont forget who you are and how the past shaped you - having memories from the past to view like a mini clip in your mind is a beautiful thing. But planning for the future is important also.
Too much of either and you miss out on the present. And as we know - mindfulness that focuses on keeping us in the present has been helping people re-achieve happiness. So that needs to be done more so. Kind of like a diet of protein/vegetables/carbs and dessert
Gotta find the right balance, and it changes as we age too.
I never thought of past/present/future in terms of a percentage, but would probably make most sense. 20/50/30?
Thatβs so true tomorrow never comes like the song says. Many people assume tomorrow and they float things. As well as you never know how long we have here or how long other people have here.
Itβs important to spend time with those who are important and take time to do things we love. Itβs never too early and itβs never too late. As long as people start now
Many people also dwell on the future. They are sick of whatβs going on right now or their current situation until oddly they look back on it and miss it
Yeah, time really is a funny thing.
It both robs and gifts at the same time. Very interesting aha
It does until eventually someone unfortunately dies. Some people also think when theyβre too old itβs too late. Itβs never too late untilβ¦.. jt is too late
There is the extremes of someone putting something off for too long and just thinking itβs too late.
Yeah, it really is never too late.
Thatβs true but at the same time some people never start something and look back to regret it.
I've embraced the grey at this point.
Embracing it is liberation!!
It's all fun and games until I look as old as I feel.
πππ exactly ahaha
But the aim is to always feel young - the fountain of youth starts within
I yank them out wherever I find them
Whyyyyyy π
Is white hair really an indication of getting older? There are people dying their hair white now, and I feel like even with someone who has completely gone Grey, they sometimes look younger because they dont have wrinkles
That's a fair point. I can get that. I have some in the front like that and they do bother me a bit more than the ones in the back... because I like a clean look π but learning to love them!!
Ahaha of course, my mom used to do that with my really coiled curly hairs... they would look like springs coming out of my head lol.
You have a lot of courage plucking scalp hair, I could never π
Yikes ahahha xD
πππ its all good!
I mean I put my body through torture in other ways! We all have things we do for our own beauty standards
I'm 71. DUH !!!
π the question was how you feel about them, not the whether you have them or not lol
They're an age product, and I'm OK with them.
Just okay?
Wish they didn't occur, but...
I dont really care?
