Do thick socks make your feet smell?

I have multiple kind of socks but it seems that black or thick socks make my feet smell, like not that bad it just that it something doesn’t happens with very thin socks, also it seems that black socks make your feet smell too? Like not long ago a bought this Calvin Klein ankle socks and they make my feet smell, so probably its not the quality since Calvin Klein it’s high quality I guess, so what do you guys experiences with socks?

I wash me feet every night when I shower & put on clean socks every day or my feet get funky smelling.

Yeah me too that keeps the smell out, also I rotate shoes because if I use the same shoes after the day I used them all day they get smelly even if I washed my feet
