I can't tell what her style is. She's a model. Those are pics from photo shoots. The costumes, over the top makeup, hair staged for every shot. That's someone else's idea. Who knows if she a stylish girl in her private life or a jeans and flip flop girl with a sweatshirt and her hair up all the time. Likewise, high maintenance or easy going, who knows.
That's an interesting take. Maybe I should have worded the question differently. What I probably meant was how do these photoshoots look?
That’s different. They look very hot. And very fake / fantasy. Nothing wrong with fantasy. Unless people come away with the idea that’s who she is and how she always looks. I very much doubt that’s the case.
Yeah, these shots were a lot of work to put together. I read the behind-the-scenes details. Lots of work to prepare.
As an example, the photographer said that it took hours for the model to get into the suit.
Thanks for the SO. Yeah, as art I appreciate the vison and work that went into creating the images. But I try to separate that from the actual person who had to go through all the work to make it happen. Actually a team of people.
You're welcome. Your opinions are very indepth, compared to the other posters. I'm happy to continue discussing this artwork.
Sure, here's a couple of thoughts that occurred to me when looking at the images. Fun, funny stuff that sorta shatters the sexy glamour vibe with a little reality. I can't help it. I notice details.
She had to be butt naked under that patent leather cat suit. Any bulge or underwire or clasp or thong might have been picked up by the camera.
I wouldn't be surprised if they had to use full body baby oil to get that cat suit on and off, LOL.
I hope like hell they were shooting in cool weather. Otherwise she must have been dying in that outfit.
I wonder if she actually rides a bike or that motion effect was just using extreme depth of field to blur the background to produce a motion effect.
LOL, the shifter is going to absolutely gonna destroy the toe of that left patent leather boot in pretty short order.
Those heels! Yikes trying to control the bike at low speeds / a stop.
Lots of fun observations. These images speak thousands of words. I do enjoy critiquing artwork. I'll add on to your takes.
The suit is made of latex rubber. The team described the process of getting it on. Yeah, naked and with dressing lube. So it was a sticky and oily experience of slipping into the outfit. One of the camera crew helped her out of it when the shoot was done, which took half a day. Yikes, I hope she was paid well.
The motion effect was produced through editing. It looks good, in my opinion. The visual illusion gives a image of speed. But these were really just still photos in a parking garage.
The choice of footwear is glamorous. While I agree with you that it is impractical. I don't ride motorcycles, but I imagine a hard time shifting gears.
Another take I'll add is the color scheme. I love the all black and shiny theme. The model looks like a sculpture.
And people think modeling isn't work, LOL. Never really been exposed to the industry firsthand but, I'm betting the models get asked to do some crazy even risky stuff so the photographer can get the shot he/she wants for the brand/marketing campaign or his/her own artistic vision.
People tend to focus on the end result like it was just a casual snap that just happened. Umm... nope, a dozen people worked their asses off for 8 hours and took 400 shots to get that one "perfect" image that gets published. And there was likely post production time in Photoshop getting the lighting perfect, correcting minor imperfections, adjusting black levels in this case, etc.
It probably depends on the shoot. I have done photography as a hobby, but never professional. I have spoken with a few models. There are more casual shoots, like bikini poses the beach. And then you have crazy stuff, like this case.
On a side note, I am deciding on which photo from this collection will be my desktop wallpaper. I'm on the fence between the last or second last picture. Which one looks more visually appealing in your opinion?
@A_R_I_E_L,
I think the last pic is my favorite. You get to see her better which is not unappealing. But you also get to see more of the bike. And she's up and out of the saddle as if she's ready to shift her body weight in a left turn. More of a sense of action.
But LOL, there is one glaring flaw in the photo that can't be avoided with the bike sitting still. The bike is leaned to the left because the kickstand is always on the left side. But the handlebars and front wheel are also pointed left. In a real left turn with any kind of speed, you'd extend your left arm and point the wheel to the right (counterintuitive I know) and shift your body weight down and to the left to lower your center of gravity while leaning the bike over to the left. No one but someone who rides bikes would ever notice that detail. And any guy is gonna be fixated on her body in that latex suit. So pretty much no will ever catch the clues that the bike is stationary.
Yeah, I can see the last picture being the best out of the collection. It has a more dramatic pose of the figure. I'm still puzzled at how the model was able to put up with the suit.
I liked how you caught the detail of the bike with the kickstand down. As someone who knows little about motorcycles, I wouldn't notice that behind the scenes method. Although, I think it works for the rider. Looks like she is leaning to the left as well.
So what you're saying is it's not her style at all and she simply posing as a model for money. Which is fine.
How many times are you going to troll this crap? Like for years now. 🙄
