I don't mean extremely beautiful, I mean moderately pretty. I got a lot of mean comments on how I look earlier but I could never see the ugliness. Now moving to a different town I got called pretty once a month (I mean one girl said: "you're so pretty" and two others said that I look younger than I'm). Before this I considered myself average in my eyes, now I feel kinda pretty. Today I wore white to work and looking at the mirror felt like white looks good on me. This definitely makes me less depressed but sometimes I wonder if I'm being conceited. I fear someone again coming up to call me ugly. Every time I felt okay on my own skin someone made me feel bad. So I'm asking you people if it's okay to consider yourself beautiful ever.
413 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Listen you are your thoughts. You should try something. Each\n And every day, look in the mirror and say, thank you for my looks. My beauty, my health. And the wisdom you have given. You make me feel my best and make me glow. Each and every day. Say that to yourself every morning. Remember how you feel today and then in 30 days see how you feel. I guarantee your skin will clear up if you have bad skin. But anything that is you feel is negative will disappear. So yes, you are your thoughts. You always remember that and you are beautiful. Anyway what are you talking about. And true beauty comes from the inside. Comes from your heart so always remember that too
A smile it ISO k to be beautiful. It ISO k to feel beautiful. It doesn't matter what anybody else thinks. It only matters what you think and what you feel. But I would say that you are beautiful.
You are kind with beautiful heart and I don't even have to look at you. I can feel your energy00 Reply

Anonymous(45 Plus)10 moSure it’s ok just so long as you don’t expect everyone to think so. A lot of women tend to expect men to just pamper me cause I’m a female or take care of me simply for mowing a female. But you also have to remember women tend to tell each other they’re beautiful when aesthetically from a man’s POV they’re not. Plus a lot of women just don’t like to hurt each others feelings. For example a lot of women will say Lizzo is beautiful when she really isn’t to men. A female will most likely get upset when you say, you think Lizzo is beautiful to which she will say yes. Then you tell her you’re as beautiful as her lol they don’t like that. So I think k it’s ok so long as you’re not going sound acting you’re all that and a bag of chips. Throwing it people’s faces, trying to command them to treat you a certain way cause you think you’re beautiful. For example Angel Reese in the WNBA. Completely delusional.

This is a humbling question and perspective, yes girl, it’s more than okay to think of yourself as beautiful ❤️ don’t feel ashame or guilty for feeling yourself or attractive!!!
But I understand where you’re coming from. I also wanna remain humble and I feel average myself. Like this morning I came to a coffeeshop and the barista kept giving me all sorts of compliments saying I’m gorgeous and stuff. But I literally feel like today I was decent looking and don’t see myself as very pretty generally lol. I think we can appreciate how others sees us and how we see ourselves. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all. What’s more importantly is how you see and think of yourself :) Science has proven how we see, think, and feel about ourselves will reflect outwardly on our mood and how we glow. With this all being said, keep on glowing sis✨00 Reply

It’s good to have a healthy self esteem and sense of perspective about your internal and external gifts. It’s when one gets cocky and expects something from others without putting in effort that folks tend to see a person as NOT being ok.00 Reply

Absolutely, it's perfectly okay to consider yourself beautiful! Beauty is subjective, and embracing your own unique beauty is a wonderful act of self-love and confidence. Everyone's perception of beauty is different, and it's important to focus on how you feel about yourself rather than others' opinions. Wearing something that makes you feel good, like the white outfit you mentioned, can really boost your confidence. Trust in your own perception and cherish those positive feelings you have about yourself. Remember, your beauty is unique and worth celebrating! 🌟💕

What you believe about yourself reflects outwardly. If you are happy, cheerful, think you are beautiful, and act confident, people will be attracted to you. If you don't like yourself, people will see your insecurity and wonder if you have a mental or physical issue that they can't see and won't be attracted to you.
The only problem with some people who think they are beautiful is that they are arrogant about it.10 Reply1.5K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. It’s okay. I consider myself beautiful. Just don’t be conceited about it. And don’t let other people drag you down. If you feel cute, pretty, beautiful and someone says something to bring you down, just shake it off and tell yourself they said that because they wish they looked as good as you look and feel that day

10 moBering a conceited bitch with a warped view of your looks is never an attractive thing for anyone. But having a healthy reality based view of your looks and understanding the little clues that tell you most people find you good looking or interesting is good thing. Being able to take a compliment and say "thank you" is a sign of confidence and maturity, not conceit.

10 moof course! Having the knowledge of your own self worth is good. Knowing that you are pretty and beautiful inside and out is more important than the exterior.
don’t let others change the way you bring about yourself to the world. Share your positive thoughts, smile, help others etc.00 Reply
10 moIt's fine, as long as you're not obnoxious about it. I knew a woman who would acknowledge compliments by saying, "Yes, I DO have beautiful eyes," and the like. And she also did this grandiose, "I can have any man I want!" I REALLY don't think she has the right approach! That kind of thing is a big turnoff, as far as I'm concerned!

10 moI think it’s kind of important to be realistic… we’ve got enough 4’s thinking they’re 10’s out here today… it’s insane.
We’re really not THAT special, any of us… Yes, feel good about yourself enough to face the day, interact with others and tackle your responsibilities competently, but be good to people. It’s not like your 💩 doesn’t stink, because it most certainly does! 😮💨😆

00 Reply668 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Beauty is a large part of a girl's ego and you shouldn't let others degrade you in your own eyes. At the same time an unrealistic high self assessment is equally damaging. Some morbidly obese women maintain they are 10's and that is just as debilitating as a self image of ugly because they won't ever lose weight.
I am guessing you were in a very negative environment and that other girls were wanting to put you down. And now in a new place you are not.
00 ReplyOf course it's okay! Confidence is sexy! It doesn't make you conceited unless you totally go over the top with it LOL - * be careful about letting others determine the way you see yourself * Compliments are great! Insults are terrible! Just don't let either go to your head or heart

10 moYour brain , your thoughts think you are the goddess that created this world.
Who will stop you for thinking it's not in their control.
Similarly what others think is not in your control
Their thoughts are their opinion and that might not even be accurate.
Other people comments doesn't matter unless you let it matter..00 Reply 5K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Yes, it's perfectly fine to consider yourself beautiful. True confidence isn't about thinking you're better than others; it's about seeing your value without needing external validation.

Anonymous(18-24)10 moI consider myself beautiful but only because people are always telling me I'm beautiful. I wouldn't have thought about it by myself other than does my hair look good and do my clothes look good, things like that. But apparently there is something beautiful about me and everyone has to tell me about it all the time.

10 moAre you ugly? If so what makes you ugly? It’s less about feeling conceited and saying you are the best looking and more about loving who you are. If you are acting in ugly ways or have ugly habits then change them. Otherwise if you love who you are, others can say whatever they want to you right?
00 Reply There's nothing wrong with considering yourself beautiful, as long as you don't fall into arrogance, leave the bad comments alone.

Anonymous(36-45)10 moSure as long as you're realistic about it. Nothing makes me laugh more than these obvious 3's and 4's saying they are 10's and deserve to date 10's. these are the same women who bitch about their men cheating. if they dated in their lane, they would never get cheated on. Never go for a guy who has options.
00 ReplyIt is who you are, not what you look like that makes you beautiful. Loving yourself no matter what others find appealing or not is 100% the pathway to being a good person and having a lovely character.

10 moi mean i think you should be realisitc. don't consider yourself beautiful if you're not. go look at the mirror and be honest with yourself. and if you find you're not all that beautiful, find something else to be about other than that.

Anonymous(45 Plus)10 moThe woman I love always said to never judge people's appearances on skin weight height what a person looks like etc and to speak kindly of someone to make that person's day better because you never know what someone is going through and if you can't say something nice to someone then don't say it at all. She teaches her daughters that a lot. She's a wonderful person a wonderful mom to her daughters she's an amazing extraordinary person

10 moYes, love yourself. Just, don't get obsessed with the mirror.
