I do. I have a lot of cartoon, anime, and some band tees.

Yes. I wear them to the gym all the time, and a lot with shorts in the summer. BUT…. I’m VERY particular about them, both in the fit and the design.

I actually have a specific company I go through that accepts art from independent creators and prints them on t-shirts for you. They have a “premium” t-shirt that fits me PERFECTLY, which I great, because I don’t want the boxy, loose-fit kind of t-shirt they sell at mall kiosks (do they have those anymore? Dating myself😅😂) or even AT concerts of the band whose t-shirt I want. It’s always some cheap Hanes t-shirt. Just not my style.

Case in point, my Rage Against The Machine t-shirt I bought at a show maybe three years ago is getting “bacon neck”, the crinkly collar. It’s never even been through a dryer, I hang dry all my t-shirts. I have older shirts than that in the “premium” design that look great still. I’m going to try to get the same shirt via that company, just unlicensed, on a premium.

The graphic…. that’s my pride and joy. I like obscure things, and references that you need to think about. A lot of “If you know, you know.” I get so many compliments on them. And if you’re complimenting it, you’re a real one👊😎

Some stuff I like….

- Bands/Musicians: pretty standard, but it’s especially ones that are either a really sweet design (“Cypress Hill, Est: Los Angeles 1984”, encircling one of those Mexican ceramic skull souvenirs), a subtle reference (just the word “Floyd”, but it’s in pink print), or someone kind of goofy that I’d wear ironically (Rick Astley, who is for reasons unknown riding a fucking bicycle🤣…. that’s my favorite to wear into a show that’s going to have a tough mosh pit, lmfao)

- Wrong Identity is one I love too, I have Princess Diana, with her profile, but then a second frontal shot, but it’s Owen Wilson, likening their hair🤣🤣🤣

- And I like obscure movie or TV references. Like I wouldn’t wear a Wayne’s World t-shirt….. but I have a t-shirt that with the logo of “Stan Mikita’s Donut Shop, Aurora, IL” on it. A true Wayne’s World fan will get it.

- Oh, and I’m a sucker for the band t-shirt made as a spoof on an existing logo. “Camp Lo” or Beastie Boys song “Slow N Low” as the Sweet N Low logo. Three Times Dope as the Philadelphia 76ers logo (where 3xD also hails from). Mobb Deep as the New York Mets logo (both from Queens, NYC…. double-references all over the place)

I could go on all day, but I have WAY too many t-shirts, is the moral of the story🤣

I wear sports jerseys on game day but that's it. I'm not a fan of T-shirts with any type of writing other than the brand.
