What sorta of hand lotion or healing lotion do you recommend?

As I have gotten older, my hands have come rougher and drier as to be expected. That said, the hand lotion that I am using doesn't seem to be working any more. I am trying to avoid hot water as much as possible because I know that it isn't good. Neither are cracked, dry, rough hands. Is there a product that anybody would recommend? Thanks.

O'keeef's working hands is good and isn't expensive. One tip is to smother your hands thickly before bed and slip into some rubber gloves so your hands get a good long soak.

Another is udder cream. There's a few different brands like uddermint and technically they're not for human use but tonnes of people swear by it.

I'd also suggest fish oil tablets or just eat more oily fish.

Find a lotion with Ammonium Lactate 12%. It's over the counter and helps with dry/flaky damaged skin. It's safe. You can also use Gold Bond.

None of that stuff really works. People don't like it because it's basically truck grease but petroleum jelly like Vasoline works. It is unpleasant and it's greasy but the effect doesn't last that long. It stopped deep cracks in my heels that I would get in winter it stopped similar cracks in the side of my thumbs too. It's the only thing I've found that actually works.
