I think the thong curve starts as young as 18 and gets steeper fast from 30 onward. For example maybe 70% of 18 year old women can get away with wearing a thong without causing crippling cringe in other people. By 30, that number is more like 50%. By 35, it's more like 33%. By 40, it's 20%. By 50, it's 5%. By 55, it's 1%. Above 55, it's time for granny panties and orthopedic shoes, girdles, and heavy duty support bras.
