What do women really think of guys wearing baseball caps on dates?

Years and years ago ladies and gents all wore their hats so I guess it's nothing new today if guys where baseball caps. Head accessories have just been upgraded to suit the times. If I was really into a guy that I was dating I wouldn't blink at his choice to wear one.

I'd rather they not for most occasions. It makes me wonder if they didn't bother to spend a few minutes on their appearance for the date and are lazy. If we're outside doing something on a sunny day, then ok.

Depends on the setting. If my fiancé and I are on a casual date (mini golf, sporting event, outside areas, etc.) then I don’t mind the hat and he wears them pretty often. But if it’s a bit dressier or just not as laid-back as the aforementioned settings then he won’t wear one.

It's a hat, a comfortable hat, that also keeps the sun out of our eyes. I'm guessing most guys (me included) don't really care what women think of baseball caps, so long as it's not in a formal setting.

The circumstances are what counts , the venue , not the hat.. but in some settings it's completely inappropriate.

For example a nice restaurant, but walking though a park = fine , just always present yourself as best you can.

If a guy routinely wears a hat, whatever type it is, he should carry on as usual. Even on a date. If it bothers her, let her filter you out.
