To guys: What do you think about a girl wearing basketball shorts?

ok shorts or sweatpants then? and less boyish shoe no J's instead low converse...and what if the girl is really feminine her face, hair etc.

I'm a girl and I played sports when I was younger. I got lazy and made the mistake of looking sloppy too often when I was in high school. Save the athletic gear for the gym ... It's cool to wear sporty t-shirts a lot, but pair them with jean shorts or jeans, not sweats. And try to wear your hair down as often as you do up -- too many ponies break it off and also don't draw attention to one of guy's favorite features on a girl. You don't have to overdo the makeup, but concealer on acne and some mascara do wonders without taking much time. I don't necessarily think that athletic gear is too masculine, but it isn't flattering to your figure and it looks like you just crawled out of bed. Guys who go everywhere in baggy shorts, caps and tees look sloppy too.

Most guys see them as the girl doesn't take time out for herself to get "dolled" up, in a sort of sense. I love basketball shorts and sweatpants, but I only wear them around the house to feel comfortable when lounging around.

In all honesty, if I saw a girl wearing basketball shorts with converse or Jordans, that would be a huge turn off to me. Its not very feminine or flattering and looks like you just through something on real quick without giving it a thought. The same with guy's when they're wearing that stuff everywhere. But hey, this is just me, if you like it, by all means keep wearing it!

i honestly think that sounds awesome. and the way to go with the shorts I think are just a fun pair of athletic . and I don't really think it matters between shorts or sweats... a woman that wears what she wants to be comfortable is more attractive (in my opinion) than a woman who purposefully dresse to attract guys.

It's not very sexy if that's what you're asking, but I have nothing against girls wearing it if they feel comfortable in it. I would just automatically assume that that girl is athletic and likes playing sports. J's are definitely the best!
