Why do I look prettier with straight hair?

Im a curly wavy girl and when I straighten my hair I look more mature and prettier- feel way confident but I don't want to ruin my hair or straighten it everyday or once a week. Why do I look more mature?

omg me too! Well I look younger with my curly hair :/

I'm trying to quit with the flat iron though because the damaging makes your hair limp and loose its curl.

I also get tired of straight hair after a week and braid it t make it wavy.

I'm in the same boat! Answer: my hair looks messy and unkempt when it gets even a tiny bit of humid, and that in turn makes me look like I'm immature and don't care about my appearance. (I look like I'm 24 even though I'm 30)
