Polls: Flirting

My crush either sits side by side with me, or he will sit or stand right in front of the desk I'm at with his crotch right where I can get a good view. Always! Like he totally blocks my view by standing right in front of me while I'm sitting, so I have to look up at him (ego, power thing?) or, if I lower my eyes, it's stare at his junk time. Not that I mind, ha ha, just wondering if this is some signal he's giving. He's done stuff before like ask me to look at his right pocket when I'm on his left, so I have to look at his crotch again.

He also talks about his junk a lot, like I was eating some nuts and he came back from the restroom and I asked if he wanted some nuts. He said he had just touched his own, which seemed unnecessary to share. He talks about sex a lot with me and jokes about blow jobs a lot. Is he hinting at something? His eyes shift down to my shirt a lot when we talk. I think he thinks I don't see him peeking because I don't say anything.

We're really good friends but I'm the only girl he shares with like this. He offers me any food he has, has made food and brought it to school to give me, spoon/fork feeds me and has even put candy right in my mouth. Is that how most guy/girl friends act? It seems really intimate to me. He also hangs out with me at school any time he can and knows where I am all day.

My guy friend I'm crushing on finally got a smart phone and has been texting me. I wasn't in class Thursday and he texted me to see if I was okay and we talked for a couple of hours. Then Friday he texts me first again just to continue a conversation we'd been having at the end of class. Yesterday was Saturday and he knew I was going to be at a wedding with drinking going on and texts me to tell me he's doing laundry and also drinking. Then he tells me that "buzzed ----( his nickname for me) " is the best me. I know he thinks it's funny to text me when I'm drinking. Then we were being silly and talking about what drinks we like and don't and that lasted a couple of hours.

We're really good friends and know everything about each other's families, problems and we're as close as you can be and not be dating. We flirt a lot in person but he's always very respectful in his texts. He also uses lots of smileys, winky faces and exclamations but no xoxo's or hearts. We say "love you" in person or joke with each other when he says something raunchy I'll say he's horrible and I hate him and he'll say, no you don't, you love me. Or I'll ask to do me a favor and I'll love him forever and he'll say "you already do".

So he either knows or thinks I like him. Is he waiting for me to do something? Is he worried about messing up our friendship? Do guys think about these things?

I know he has tons of people to text while drunkenly doing laundry, so why is he texting me? We've never gotten drunk in person together but I kind of feel like I've already done a lot of things "virtually" with him since we've texted in bed, last thing at night and first thing in the morning and we'd ask each other how we'd slept, or if at all since this past summer we'd text until 3 and then start again at 9 am.

He's also very interested in my sex life lately and is curious about stuff I've done, what I'm into and he's always asking me if I'm doing things with guys and if I like it.

This guy is 33 and I'm 24. He really wants to date me but is too shy to ask. He's my boss. When he has events at his job (college), he invites my younger sister to join, she's 15. He always invites me, and always tells me to bring her. He will occasionally flirt with me, and then he will sit down and get to know her (tell her personal things about himself and bond with her). Is he doing this because he is really into me, or just because it's a sexual thing. I just need to know if he sees it long term or no?

When someone feels a chemistry between them and another person, can it really ever be one sided, or is it really always reciprocated (simple logic would dictate that it is always reciprocated because of the nature of chemistry (or the 'spark' if you will))?

Of course, someone can be an attention whore and flirt with everyone in sight (and this way, it might not be reciprocated, but they DO imitate / emit chemistry, hence the chemistry in this case is faked on one end, but, externally still exists).

This question was kinda inspired by that show Virgin Territory where a girl thought her local coffee shop's cashier might be also interested in her since he eventually starting remembering her regular order. They even started texting her but when she asked him to get a bite to eat and if they could hang out again he said he had a girlfriend already.

I didn't see that coming esp since they have each others numbers and he even agreed to go have something to eat with her.

Also I've had a similar situation except I never hung out with the guy and barely texted. I think he just wanted to be friends but it was nice that he'd go out of his way to make sure they weren't out of the ingredients needed for my order. Some of the other cashiers remembered my name and order but didn't go out of their way to check the oven when they ran out of my usual bagel.

It seems to be a commonly accepted gentlemanly gesture for a guy to give a girl his jacket if she's freezing, especially if he's interested in her but you never really her about the reverse happening.

I mean, obviously if the girl's wearing a pink floral jacket, you probably aren't going to accept that. But if it were well below freezing, she had a gender-neutral sweatshirt, you forgot your jacket and she's offering, would you accept it?
