i wouldn't want to eat one just because its an animal but yeah they do look weird too... i dont know why that would stop a meat eater eating them though... i would think it more odd that they eat cuddley looking animals like lambs

Hi. Former executive chef here. No I don't think they're creepy. if you ever tasted lobster you'll understand why people eat them. and yes you're right you're not supposed to boil them alive. You stick them in the freezer first to put them to sleep, the cold temperature will kill them humanely. Then you boil them.
