Even if you don't have asthma, this can easily go bad for you. Glad you are alright!
You just can't swallow that much fine powdery stuff in my opinion, the moment you try to breathe it's over. So i think you have to swallow it immidiately, which is hard, cause it's a dry powder and a lot of it..11
What Girls & Guys Said
Has anyone successfully ignored said challenge (s) and realise how fucking stupid all this shit is?
Nothing against you Ms Asker but people need to open their eyes and realise how dumb society is right now.
Social engineering at its finest. You think you lead free lives and have free minds yet when a celebrity/challenge is called out, you bleat like a sheep and follow the craze!
For what? Just proves how you (the people) will follow anything and everything they tell you to do.
Give it time. Something will be asked of you but in your right mind you won't do it. When you see a celebrity do it, you think nothing of it and go along with it.28
The key, logically, would be to use a sufficiently small spoon. I have one that I got in a cereal box that would probably do just fine; it has a capacity of maybe half of a teaspoon. (It snaps together, as it's actually in two pieces; I'm debating making some sort of fancy carrying case for it, just for the absurdist glory of having a dedicated case for a tiny plastic spoon). I mean, did it really not dawn on you that there was a REASON it was supposed to be hard? And that perhaps you should start with a smaller quantity of cinnamon and work your way up?1
It’s really stupid to try to consume finely ground dry ingredients as there is a high chance of inhaling it. Many foods that are perfectly safe in normal quantities are toxic if concentrated. Apple seeds contain cyanide and consuming a large number can be fatal.3
No I have not done that.
It helps that I don't have any social media or the mental capacity of a 5 year old.
But yes it is capable to do it.
Grant Imahara did it on the TV show Mythbusters.
If your friends are giving you these "challenges" it may be time to look for new friends.1
This is a serious challenge for sure and what can happen is Cinnamon can go into the lungs might not cause anything serious but could cause pneumonia to develop from a foreign body going into the lungs or could be fatal?22
Thinking about it the last two challenge I did were the Ice Bucket Challenge & The 22 Day Push-Up Challenge. As for The Cinnamon Challenge I haven’t done that one & for all the people who succeeded I wonder if their farts smelled like cinnamon.2
No, thanks. I have a pretty weak throat that gets irritated easily. Can immagine what cinnamone will do21
I do have an asthma. If my friends laugh put while I am already dying then I am cutting them off. You not knowing is not acceptable. But them knowing about the risks is not okay.1
xD no. i'm not retarded. you can die from this. it's terribly dangerous. you can easily accidentally breathe a lot of it in (cause of the way it physically reacts with saliva), which will lead to pneumonia and asphyxiation.12
I was never stupid enough to try. Very early on I noticed cinnamon being a pain to eatnin general, so when people started to try eating spoons full for a challenge, I was already laughing maniacally.1
Don't wanna. I'm drunk, not completely retarded. I'm only 75% retarded. You need to be like 99% to try that for just $20.12
Oh good grief. Do people actually do this?
Why don't people just swallow another soap pod instead? It's crazy!13
No never did and wouldn't lololol
Glad you didn't die tho 🙂🙂 lol21
Hell no that was some dumb shit. Why would I try it if I've seen the videos and already know its gonna be nasty and make me feel horrible.1
Never tried it but I think it’s a bit impossible to do because it dries out your throat. These challenges are so stupid.2
Easy, don’t get what’s so difficult swallowing dry stuff for other people, I jus gulped it down like nothing2
a student of mine did it. They said the trick was swallowing immediately12
Neither of these option. I never tried, and I won't I'd rather just watch people do it to themselves and laugh at them :p12
I remember this. I thought it was one of the dumbest things ever till my peers started the Tide Pod Challenge. That was when I realized I was born in the wrong generation.11

no. this behavior demonstrates misplaced trust... as someone challenging is not thinking of the best for the other, lack of self esteem or poor judgement.
this is how people die young. Need to build self worth. I've seen girls with low confidence become very strong when supported, encouraged and build strength. true for boys too.
some people not as strong as others in disposition... so can fall prey to those who project confidence/power, but are really abusive/narcissistic or lack empathy.
Are you talking about the cinnamon?
general. don't know that cinnamon will kill someone, maybe if had allergy reaction.
per update. clearly... those are not friends you want... and I've had some like that. they were mischevious. you put trust in wrong people. thing is... they knew and didn't educate you. they challenged you (their wrong), you accepted (your mis trust), you survived... lets eat. that's like every holiday.
Yea thats why i dont do friends anymore. Just associates
