Well, a burger (hamburger) by definition, can only be ground beef. Although people like to call everything "a burger" nowadays, as long as it has a circular patty shape. If you're asking what type of meat sandwich is people's favorites, it's still the cheeseburger.

I make them myself from ground sirloin. I make then large and buy these big rolls from the bakery. I cook them outside on the grill. Turn it over once and throw on a few slices of bacon. Get some lettuce and salt and pepper. Yummy.

I love making lamb burgers at home. I usually make homemade tzatziki & make a salad to go on top with a toasted artisan bun. I've never had anyone complain when i make them, normally people are asking for my recipe.

My fave at the moment is a can of chickpeas, a can of black beans, a grated carrot, a cup of cooked greens (spinach, kale, beet leaves, whatever). Then a couple of tablespoons of bbq sauce, pepper, paprika, and a couple of teaspoons of maple syrup. Then add a few spoons of flour. They turn out pretty sticky and hold out on the bbq really well.
