Would you try crunchy peanut butter on a hamburger with otherwise standard toppings?

I love putting Crunchy Peanut Butter on my burgers, on the bottom bun to prevent too much melting, along with lettuce, cheese, katsup, and tomato (sautéed onion, mustard, relish, and Japanese mayo is fine too, but I don't consider that archetypal).

I was fortunate enough to share a mothers day meal with a Vietnamese family. they put peanut sauce on everything from mint salad to springrolls. Everything but the beer which flowed heavily. I guess it would work. but I can't see it becoming routine.
