It's also worth mentioning, no matter what banana bread recipe you use, NEVER use yellow bananas that you'd normally eat fresh. Instead, ONLY use old, over-ripened bananas that have lots of brown spots all over the peels. Or even better, ones that are almost completely dark. The older they are, the better they are, and the more flavour they impart to the banana bread.

Yeah, there's great banana bread and garbage banana bread, and not much in between. lol Sadly, I think some people get turned off of it from having a bad slice.
