Or both slices? π€
I put PB on both slices and even I feel like it's so unnecessary. π

When I was younger and I did it myself, I'd only do one side pb and then the other side jam or jelly. But my dad mainly made my sandwiches, so he did both sides with pb and then just glob on the jam or jelly. I always liked it when I could spread the jam on one piece of the bread at least even if pb is on both sides. You just put a little less on that side so you can spread the jam on easier.
@Staximus yeah. I did that with mashed bananas with crunchy peanut butter.
If I'm only doing peanut butter then I'll just fold each piece of bread in half so its not really a sandwich. So much more convenient and less messy that way for my kids
@Apple1996 pm me please
Peanut butter first because if one is going to contaminate the other by accident, I'd rather have the pb in the jelly than the other way around.
Pb on one slice, jelly on the other, if I'm feeling fancy, I'll put some honey on the Pb side and mix it in till it's fluffy.
Bella I put the peanut butter on one side of the bread and fold it to eat it. I generally don't use two slices of bread. I suspect that's kinda unusual how I do it.
🙂
It's not odd. If you only want or can stomach half of a sandwich, it is what it is.
It's good to hear that @PBandJNerd and Bella are both cool with a half sandwich! Lol
π
I usually eat half of a sandwich. But that's because sometimes too much bread bugs my stomach.

I don't really know, as I never make peanut butter sandwiches without jelly. I expect, though, that I would put peanut butter on both slices, as that is what I do when I make peanut butter sandwiches with jelly. The jelly sits in a sort of pocket inside the peanut butter. I have had peanut butter sandwiches without jelly that I've come across randomly, but they always seemed a bit dry to me and always required some Dr Pepper to go along with them.
I've been waiting for this Q my whole life!!! BOTH sides!! It's not extra, it's mandatory!! Also, more PB than jelly and it has to be grape jelly and not this marmalade shit or apricot or whatever. Then cut it diagonal. Beverage must be cold, not hot and your choice. You should have water but milk is acceptable. Enjoy!
I respectfully disagree.
I will put it on both sides. In South Africa we use syrup with peanut butter. And if I am out I just spread a nice thick even amount to both sides. As a kid I couldn't get enough. But tastes are different.
Just one slice unless we put something in the middle like a foot. Then there's a sort of layered thing going on and it makes a difference in that case.
Both slices, otherwise the sandwich is dry and hard to get through.
Who makes an only peanut butter sandwich? 😕
Some people might not like the sweetness of the jelly or jam. It's the reason why you also have alternatives like banana slices, honey, thin apple slices, celery, and dill pickles. But even if none of those are used, when in doubt, have it with a glass of milk. π₯Unless you love all that pb & bread stuck to the roof of your mouth.
Both. Also I would put some honey on top. I actually prefer it with honey. Sometimes I even add a bit of cinnamon
the more peanut butter the better, right? :D
definitely both slices :D
both slices... same with mayo, and any other spread
definitely both. sometimes i overdo it because gawd dam i love pb lol
Yeah, because you donβt need two slices of bread itβs really dry like that besides, if Iβm going to go through the trouble Iβd like to have grape 🍇 jelly with it
PB&J sushi for you in that case?
@PBandJ_Nerd sushi I donβt want raw fish on my peanut butter and jelly sandwich lol
There is no fish. You just roll out bread with a rolling pin or use pita bread, put the pb&j on it, roll it up, and then slice it. It's sushi.
@PBandJ_Nerd oh 1980s right Iβve never had Pita wraps before on a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Iβve always used just regular bread, rye bread and such.
It probably thought you or caught something that thought it said it.
@PBandJ_Nerd it happened all the time voice command
Just like how Alexa thinks we're talking to her when we aren't. I've even caught her listening to us because she had the blue line going across that means she's listening.
@PBandJ_Nerd I know big pain in the butt lol
We found out how to silence her. So, she hasn't done that for months now.
@PBandJ_Nerd great how did you finally silence her?
There's a switch on her. When you slide it, it'll be a red line at the bottom.
@PBandJ_Nerd good job you finally got rid of her. Congratulations. π
She's not rid of, just silenced. lol
@PBandJ_Nerd Awesome job well done cool π
Never eat it. It is like trying to chomp glue.
I like peanut butter on both slices.
If there's no jelly then there's no sandwich for me, I just make peanut butter toast
I make pbj's with cream cheese too - they're awesome. Only one side gets PB.
It's definitely good like that. Jam with cream cheese=π
Thanks for reminding me. I'm out. lol
lol
Oh. And probably wouldn't eat just peanut butter unless desperate. Also I like all natural jiff or it's too sweet or oily.
Scary how many recalls PB gets. Don't look it up π³
@Jennz6 What about rat hairs and feces? Yummy. Is their job that hard to do? lol "This will give us a few more months between inspections."
Tell me something: Do you stay up nights worrying about this kind of thing?
I like it weird in between two peanut butter cups or between a peanut butter cup and a piece of a chocolate bar
Peanut butter on one slice. Jam on the other slice.
I put peanut butter on one slice and salted butter on the other slice
